EO Day 2019

Back to all news

For those of you that don't know, we became employee owned on the 1st of October 2014 following Mike's steady transition into retirement. The majority of the company's shares are held in a trust for the benefit of the employees with the same Directors, supported by a new Senior Leadership Team, continuing to lead us. Our EO journey so far has been a successful one, although it's not been without its challenges. Our aim is to continue to work in a better and more rewarding way by manufacturing great things, responsibly, in Scotland.

Last Friday marked Employee Ownership Day 2019; a day for employee owners to come together and share their stories. We celebrated #EODay by pulling the team together from every corner of the business and doing what we do best; getting stuck in on the benches to make lights. The day didn't come to a close without some beer of course!

We are part of a growing community with a huge 20% of the Employee Ownership Association's membership now made up of businesses from the built environment. Want to find out more about employee ownership? Speak to the Employee Ownership Association.
