Disassembly Information
Lighting regulations are changing. Find out more here.
Full disassembly, maintenance and recycling notes like this are accessed by entering your product serial number into the search function above.
Serial numbers are typically located in an area that is not visible when the fitting is installed i.e. underneath a base plate or on a track adapter. They always begin with a letter B, C or S followed by five numbers.
Please be aware that only fittings ordered after implementation of the Ecodesign for Energy Related Products and Energy Information (Lighting Products) Regulations 2021 (1st November 2021) will have a Disassembly Information document produced.
However, we would be more than happy to provide support should you wish to update, refresh or recycle your fitting via our ReNew service. Please contact us at sales@mikestoanelighting.com and we will be happy to help.
Every Disassembly Information document created serves to support the customer in a variety of ways in addition to meeting regulatory requirements:
- To assist with the recycling and disassembly of products at the end of life. Identification of materials and instruction on separation
- To assist in identifying replacement parts for the fittings, should that be necessary and where necessary identify tools required
- Making clear light source and control gear removal/replacement options and who can carry out such work (regulatory requirement)
Any replacement or upgrade work must be carried out by Stoane Lighting or a Stoane Lighting approved third party.
