Discrete LED Introduction
Back to all technicalWe have tried to remove some of the confusion surrounding LED packages. By thinking of them as just another lamp, but by never forgetting that they do have unique characteristics, especially thermal, we think they make more sense.
Each "lamp" consists of one or more Osram Oslon Square or Cree power LEDs, thermally bonded on to a printed circuit board. By controlling the LEDs separately colours can be mixed.
