Farmer Mac, Washington DC

The Washington D.C. headquarters of the Federal Agricultural Mortgage Corporation, known as Farmer Mac, was recently redesigned by OTJ Architects and Sarah Richter Design.

Both teams, working closely with our US partners Inter Lux, carefully chose a small number of manufacturers to supply lighting to an environmentally conscious design which intends to promote employee health and wellbeing.

The design team made simple yet very effective use of our ZTA.50.Bay; unobtrusive in style but not shy in technical performance. The ZTA.50.Bay for Sarah and team was easily customised to shorten the body and include a front loading lamp tube for accessories. It provides effective wayfinding using a soft wide flood beam and warm white colour temperature.
