At first glance this just looks like our Fixed Tadpole doing a really nice job of highlighting wooden beams. That’s true, thanks to lighting designer Stina Marsh at Bjerking AB, with its very narrow 11.7º beam.

The story of this new structure in “bike city” Uppsala, Sweden, by Tengbom is one with a sustainability focus. Its wooden frame and glass façade support solar cells and a green roof. Our Fixed Tadpole (just over 700 of them) supplied by our friends at Rebel Light, follows the sustainability theme closely with its robust build quality, responsibly sourced materials and ability to be upgraded in the future.
