Sunset Walk, The Centre:MK

A rich, high quality material pallet was key to the renovation of a large section of this listed shopping mall. In order to ensure a crisp, high quality, fixing free, high-end look (utilising polished gold Rimex) whilst also repeating over 970 units – a new method of construction had to be developed. We developed a build method similar to that used in automotive production to enable fast and accurate repetition. Installation was optimised to a simple templated first and second fix while the fittings are maintainable in situ in the unlikely event it is required.
